Remarks: While the bodies of Phoenix Tetras (Hemigrammus filamentosus) are typically gray-silver, their fins are red with white extensions. Males will be brighter red and have longer extensions. This species is fairly active, constantly darting around the tank to show off for one another. Their size makes them great tankmates for Angelfish, Severums, and various eartheaters.
