Collection: Brackish Species

Brackish water is water that is in-between freshwater and saltwater in regards to salinity. Some species require brackish water to thrive and be healthy long-term. All species in this category either require brackish water or have the option to live in it. Most of these species are currently kept in freshwater conditions here at Imperial Tropicals, but a few such as those requiring brackish water are being kept in brackish conditions. Any that are kept in brackish water will have it stated in the Remarks section of the listing along with the salinity they are being kept in.
