Remarks: African Dwarf Frogs (Hymenochirus boettgeri) are a peaceful species of aquatic frog that get along with most community fish species. They are primarily nocturnal but you will usually see them hovering around the tank during daylight hours. They do have lungs, so you will notice them dart to the surface to gulp fresh oxygen before returning deeper. They prefer calmer waters and can be sensitive to loud noises.
