Remarks: The Red Breasted Chanchito (Australoheros scitulus) can tolerate a wide range of water temperatures and hardness. When happy, they develop red coloring starting at the base of the pectoral fins and running towards their anal fin. The parents of these fish were caught in Uruguay and bred in our facility.
