Remarks: Black Morpho Tetras (Poecilocharax weitzmani) are small tetras from Rio Orinoco and Rio Negro river basins in South America. Males exhibit striking red horizontal lines on their bodies, with a thick black line with blue speckles running inbetween. They also have impressive sail fins, which they will flash in order to attract females.
