Borneo Sucker Loach (Pseudogastromyzon sp.)
Out of stock
Remarks: Borneo Sucker Loaches (Pseudogastromyzon sp.) belong to a group of loaches that live in fast-moving streams and rivers in Borneo. There are many species that live together, and often imports contain a mixture of these species. These loaches have modified pelvic and pectoral fins that have grown to form a suction, allowing them to cling to river rock in the strong current. They graze on aufwuchs that grow on the surfaces of rocks. These fish will accept algae wafers and some meaty foods, but they much prefer cleaning smooth stones. Keeping their tank near direct sunlight, allowing lots of algae to grow, will be very beneficial to their health.
