Clown Rasbora (Rasbora kalochroma)
Out of stock
Remarks: Clown Rasbora (Rasbora kalochroma) are medium-sized, active schooling fish from Malaysia. They have rounded fusiform bodies that are deep red in color with two blue-black spots on their flanks. They can often be found swimming at the top of the tank directly into a current, giving life to the upper reaches of your aquarium. They are ideal for 40+ gallon tanks with plenty of open space in the upper half of the water column for schooling. They are peaceful and can be kept with peaceful cichlids, schooling fish larger than 1", Gourami, and Loaches.
They look their best in darker water, which allows their reds to develop fully. We encourage you to experiment with tannins by adding driftwood or Indian Almond and Oak leaves to your tank to mimic their natural habitat. You will be rewarded with deep reds and the fish will be happy.
