Sunset Hap (Dimidiochromis strigatus)

15 In stock

RemarksDimidiochromis strigatus are large, predatory haps from Malawi that will eat any juvenile fish in the tank. Their mouths are surprisingly large and will easily hold a sub-adult mbuna, for example. They require a large area for swimming, and we recommend at least 100 gallons if you plan to keep one to full adulthood.

Being a large Hap, they take a while to color up. The wait will be rewarded with a bright blue fish with orange and black fins and a gaping mouth.
