Elongatus Neon Spot (Chindongo sp.)
Out of stock
Remarks: The small Elongatus Neon Spot mbuna (Chindongo sp.), also called Elongatus Jewel Spot, were recently reclassified from their original genus, Pseudotropheus. They have long, slender bodies and remain under 4". Males are dark black with bright blue spots along the base of the dorsal fin, while females are blue with more subtle spots in the same locations. We recommend a tank at least 30 gallons, with long tanks more suited for their habits. Provide them with some rocky structures and keep one male to several females, and you will be rewarded with frequent spawns.
