Emerald Green Cory (Brochis splendens)
Out of stock
Remarks: Emerald Green Corys (Brochis splendens) are considered by some to be part of the Corydoras genus, however this is up for debate. They have more than 10 rays in the dorsal fin compared to most Corys, which have 7. This species a fairly robust and grows large. As they grow, they change from a mottled juvenile pattern to a shimmering green-bronze color.
Corydoras are often looked at as "scavengers," but they should be treated in a similar fashion as the rest of your fish. They are omnivores and require a mixed diet. Flake food is readily accepted, as is baby brine shrimp and small pieces of blackworm.
