Remarks: Sorubim lima are found all across the Amazon, in fast-moving clearwaters and slow-moving blackwaters. They are primarily nocturnal, congregating on the banks of a river near vegetation and fallen logs during the day. They are predatory and will eat most small fish and invertebrates. They should be kept with larger Loricariids, tetras, barbs, and other non-aggressive fish larger than 2".
