Orange Oto (Nannoptopoma sp.)
Out of stock
Remarks: Orange Otos (Nannoptopoma sp., formerly Hypoptopoma sp.) are small, algae-eating fish from South America. They have been called Orange Zebra Otos, Robocop Otos, and several other names. They rarely exceed 1.5" in length and require a plentiful amount of algae to graze on. Orange Otos do a remarkable job cleaning leaves, wood, rocks, and glass of green and brown algae. They rarely accept prepared foods, so having a tank with well-established driftwood or stones covered in algae and aufwuchs will be very beneficial to their long term health.
