Remarks: Peruvian Rummynose Tetras (Petitella georgiae) differ slightly from the Colombian species. Their faces are not as brightly colored, but there is still some red present. Their caudal fins are much larger and more intense, however, giving them a wonderful flagtail appearance. These fish are sensitive to nitrates and will lose color when stressed.
