Remarks: Red Eye Puffers (Carinotetraodon irrubesco) are sometimes called Red Tail Puffers, Sumatran Red Eye Puffers, and several other combinations of descriptive features. They live in submerged plantbeds with plenty of cover and a slow current. They require a good amount of plants or other decorations to break up sightlines, as they will aggressively chase each other. They are best maintained as a group with a schooling fish that are too fast to be caught, such as Glowlight Danios.
