Remarks: Rohan's Tear Spot Barb (Dawkinsia rohani) is a large, robust species that requires high oxygenation and clean water. When young, they appear as gold-colored barbs with a spot on the caudal peduncle. When mature, however, they develop greens and reds, as well as elongated fins in the males. They are very active fish and will need a tank of at least 65 gallons when mature. They look wonderful with Clown Loaches and large community fish.
