Rummynose Tetra (Petitella bleheri)

Out of stock

Remarks: Rummynose Tetras (Petitella bleheri) sport bright red faces and a flagtail pattern on their caudal fin. They were formerly classified as Hemigrammus bleheri, but recent analysis indicates they may be closer in relation to Petitella georgiae than we previously thought. The red noses are a good indicator of stress for these fish. If the noses remain white, water changes may be needed. These fish are sensitive to nitrates and will lose color when stressed.
