Remarks: Aulonocara sp. Safran is a Peacock that has been line-bred in Germany. When bred, males will be yellow or pink/orange. Females are peach-colored. Much like Dragon Bloods, there are occasional pigmentation spots on these fish. They are not harmful to the fish. The pictures show a fully colored male (all yellow) and a mixed group of males and females, both fully colored and subdominant (yellow head, pink body).
