Six Banded Barb (Desmopuntius hexazona)
Out of stock
Remarks: Six Banded Barbs (Desmopuntius hexazona) are fantastic little cyprinids from Borneo. They have rose-gold bodies with five blue-green stripes throughout. As they turn under a light, you will notice a blue sheen over all of their scales. They look best in a planted blackwater tank, but will fit nicely in most community tanks. As a small species, they require cover in the form of driftwood, leaf litter, and plants. They should be kept in groups of at least 6, but if you are keeping them in a species-tank, the more, the merrier.
