Snakeskin Barb (Desmopuntius rhomboocellatus)

Out of stock

Remarks: Snakeskin or Rhombo Barbs (Desmopuntius rhomboocellatus) are medium-sized cyprinids from Borneo. They have deep red bodies with blue-green "snakeskin" markings along their flanks. They look best in a planted blackwater tank, but will fit nicely in most community tanks. As a small species, they require cover in the form of driftwood, leaf litter, and plants. They should be kept in groups of at least 6, but if you are keeping them in a species-tank, the more, the merrier.
