Remarks: South American Puffers (Colomesus asellus) are unique among freshwater puffers in that they prefer to be kept in groups. They are still capable of being nippy towards slow-moving fish are long, trailing fins, but they are much more suited for community set-ups than most puffers. They have active personalities and are constantly zooming around the tank and "glass surfing."
