Remarks: Spotted Headstanders (Chilodus punctatus) are small characins with superb spotting and a peculiar swimming behavior. These fish can often be found hovering motionless with their heads pointed towards the substrate at a very sharp angle. When foraging, they will pick at morsels hanging off of driftwood or plants. They look excellent when schooling among Amazon Swords or Jungle Vals.
