Remarks: Altolamprologus compressiceps "Sumbu" are a dwarf species of Altolamprologus that, despite their small size, have a fairly long life-span with some reports indicating 10 years or more. They spawn in shells and small caves and rarely reach over 3" in length. Their unique head shape makes them very popular among aquarists, and very adapted for hunting prey in small crevices between rocks.
