Remarks: Found in Western Africa among slow-moving rivers, Synodontis waterloti is an average-sized catfish that makes a suitable tankmate for most Malawi and West African tanks. They are tan with dark brown spots and reticulations across their body. They are nocturnal and may not venture out of the rockwork during daylight, but as evening approaches you will find the fish hurrying along the substrate in search of food.
