Remarks: Yellow Blaze (Otopharynx lithobates) are a beautiful Malawi Hap that exhibit long, pointed bodies with three black spots on their flanks. Males turn deep blue and begin to show their signature "blaze" from their nose to the back of their dorsal fin around 3" long. Females remain mostly gray but can show some blue tint. They typically inhabit caves, while females forage for food in the rocky surroundings.
