Remarks: Chalceus erythrurus, the Yellow Fin Chalceus, is a large characin from Peru and Brazil. They have silver scales with dark fishnet outlines, bright pink tails, and yellow anal and pelvic fins. They look great in tanks larger than 55 gallons with medium to large sized cichlids, such as Geophagus, Severums, and Angelfish.
